How much does a guitar setup cost in Kraków?
My Premium Setup with a fixed bridge is 179 zł, with a Floyd Rose/Evertune bridge 269 zł, and a classical or acoustic guitar setup is 119 zł. The price includes a string change, neck relief, action and intonation adjustment, plus cleaning and conditioning.
Is the inspection and quote paid?
Inspection and consultation cost 30 zł — I check the technical condition of the instrument, make minor corrections and advise on the scope of work. When you book a service, the inspection is included in its price.
Fret dressing or a refret — which one do I need?
If the frets still have height to spare, dressing and polishing is enough (549 zł, setup included). With deep wear or very low frets, a refret is needed (799 zł, premium setup included). During the inspection I will advise which option makes sense for your instrument.
Which nut should I choose: blank stock, brass or antler?
A nut from blank stock (99 zł) is the classic, balanced choice. Brass (149 zł) gives a brighter attack and longer sustain. Elk antler (199 zł) is a hand-made, natural alternative with a dense, warm tone.
Do you service Floyd Rose and Evertune bridges?
Yes. The 269 zł Premium Setup covers floating tremolos — Floyd Rose, Ibanez Edge, Kahler, Bigsby — and the Evertune system.
Do prices include parts and strings?
Service prices do not include the cost of new components, parts and strings — we choose those together during the consultation, based on your preferences and budget.
Where is the workshop and do I need an appointment?
The workshop is at ul. Bolesława Limanowskiego 25 in Kraków (Podgórze). Opening hours: Mon–Fri 11:00–19:00, Sat 11:00–15:00. It is best to call or message me on WhatsApp (+48 518 510 536) before visiting.
